Step into an old-fashioned carnival during this ninth annual children’s event celebrating the history of Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls and stories created by Hoosier Johnny Gruelle. This year’s theme, “Day at the Fair,” will be reflected in stories, songs, activities, food and décor. Children are encouraged to bring their Ann or Andy dolls and/or dress up like them. Visit with life-size Ann and Andy characters and special guest Patty Hall, noted Raggedy Ann/Johnny Gruelle historian.
In addition to a light buffet meal, activities will include story readings, sing-a-longs, crafts, face painting, cookie decorating and carnival games. A photographer will be available to take photos with Ann and Andy for a minimal fee. Ms. Hall will be available to sign her books.
Reservations required. Meal times at 9 a.m., 11:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. No child size tables and chairs are available this year.
